Ice makers, granular ice makers and flake ice makers are all common ice-making equipment used in laboratory and life, but do you know how to maintain granular ice makers and flake ice makers when they are not in use for a long term?
If the granular ice machine is not used for a long time, the water inside it should be drained. The specific operation is as follows:
1. Turn the granular ice machine operation switch to OFF
2. Turn off the faucet
3. Leave the granular ice machine for half a day or a day to allow the remaining ice to melt completely
4. Turn the drain switch to ON to drain the sink and ice-making water
5. Cut off the water supply, remove the filter, drain the water in the water pipe, and unplug the granular ice machine power plug
6. The granular ice machine filter should be cleaned 1~2 times a month. Use a neutral detergent to remove stubborn dirt.
7. Due to frequent changes in water quality, the granular ice machine water filter should be cleaned 1~2 times a month to remove deposited dirt.
Ice machines can be divided into commercial ice machines, household ice machines, and industrial ice machines. According to the ice making method, granulated ice can be divided into spray type, running water type, and immersion type.
