Snow flake ice making machine is widely used in life science, quarantine inspection and medical laboratories to do low temperature reaction, which is the indispensable equipment for "ice-making" in the laboratory. When the ice maker has been used for a long time,it may get various problems. So, what should we do if the snowflake ice machine suddenly stops making ice?

I. The snow ice maker does not fill with water

Cause: The ice machine water pump is broken and cannot press water onto the ice tray.

Solution: Clean the pump every 2 months.

In addition, if the filter system is not good, it is easy to produce scale,so it is recommended to clean it once a month, or replace the filter, otherwise the scale accumulation may cause the the burnout of the pump.

II. The ice making machine has poor heat dissipation

Cause: Due to poor heat dissipation plus too long ice making time, compressor is hot and the machine is overheated, in order to protect the machine, the ice making process is automatically cut off.

Solution: Open the cover and observe the heat sink to see if it has dust that affects the air flow, or if foreign matter blocks the heat sink, and remove it in time.

If a fan is used for heat dissipation, pay attention to observe whether the fan operates normally. For water cooling, pay attention to see if the drainage cooling system is normal.

III. Insufficient refrigerant in the snowflake ice machine

Cause: No ice making for a long time because of insufficient refrigerant.

Solution: Check the refrigerant. If the refrigerant leaks, test the pressure and leak, and add the refrigerant after repairing and welding.
